The recording from my set at In The Lowest Ferns on Saturday, November 16th, is now live! This one captures all the energy, vibes, and magic from a night that was more than just music—it was a celebration of community.
First off, massive thanks to Mr. Bungalow for absolutely setting the tone. His opening set was flawless, bringing deep, soulful heat to warm up the crowd and get everyone moving. The room was already electric by the time I stepped up, and I couldn’t have asked for a better handoff.
One of the highlights of the night had to be the pizza drop. At peak energy, right when the crowd was locked into the groove, we handed out slices while I played Pizza. It was a moment of pure connection—people sharing food, laughs, and vibes right there on the dance floor. Breaking bread has always brought people together, but breaking crust while dancing? That’s next level.
Later, near the end of the night, Mr. Bungalow jumped back in, and we went back-to-back for a couple of tracks. It was an impromptu moment where the music did all the talking, and the energy between us translated directly to the crowd. There’s something special about those unplanned, instinctual exchanges—they’re what live sets are all about.
This recording is just my set (so no pizza), but it’s got the soul of the night: deep grooves, layered beats, and the energy of a room full of people all in sync. Whether you were there or tuning in for the first time, I hope it brings you back to that dance floor.
Thanks again to everyone who came out, and to Mr. Bungalow for making the night unforgettable.
